Maglor, son of Fëanor

Maglor is probably one of the saddest characters in the Silmarillion. He was the only one of Fëanor's sons who was ever willing to rescind the Oath of Fëanor but was still bound by it, and even though he's not a character we ever explicitly learn very much about, it is obvious how much he suffered under the terrible deeds he committed himself for the Oath. I wanted to convey the compassion and the pain and deep sorrow that is Maglor... and try out a green colour scheme for once. January 2004 Watercolour and Photoshop
